NEET 2017 is National Eligibility cum Entrance Test. It is a national level test which is regulated by CBSE board. This test is conducted to provide admissions in MBBS/BDS private or government colleges. A candidate can apply this exam only 3 times so you have only 3 chances to crack this examination for entrance in a good MBBS or BDS College in your city. From 2016, NEET exam has been replaced by AIPMT exams. If you want to get admission in MBBS College then you have to give this test.
The good news for all the applicants who are appearing for NEET 2017 examination is that there are some additional opportunities provided by the Centre Board. The maximum age limit for the General Category student is 25 years and for reserved category students the age limit is 30 years. According to the order of Supreme Court, NEET is the only exam that offers MBBS/BDS courses in India except AIIMS and JIPMER. In order to fill the form, you need to have the documents which are mentioned below:-
- Your Aadhaar Card
- A recently clicked colored passport size photograph.
- Your Academic qualification Degree.
- Scan image of your photo and signature.
- The scan image of your right hand index finger.
- Debit card to make your payment online.
Exam Dates and Results
Every year, the NEET exam application form release in the first week of December. But this year, there has been a delay in the release date of the application form. It may be due to language barrier. This year last date of submission of application form is 1st March 2017. The exam will be conducted on 7th may 2017 and the expected date of result declaration is 8 June 2017. As the exams date is out so it is better for the candidates to focus on their preparation schedule and timetable.
The candidate can apply for this exam in 10 different languages and all the candidates should have their Aadhaar card when they are filing their application form. If there is any mismatch of your details at your Aadhar card and application form then it is advised that they will update the details in their Aadhaar Card before the examination takes place. Do not forget to carry your admit card and your identity card at the examination Centre.
